Biography

Dr. ​Yu is currently a postdoctoral fellow in KAUST. He received his B.S. degree in engineering mechanics from Tianjin University in 2011, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in solid mechanics from Beihang University in 2014 and 2018. His research interests mainly focus on digital image correlation and its applications to dynamic deformation measurement, material property identifications and biomechanics in biological tissues.
