Biography

Dr. Li joined KAUST as a research consultant in February 2024. He received his B.S. degree in Software Engineering and Road and Railway Engineering in 2017 from East China Jiaotong University and M.S. in Architecture and Civil Engineering from Wuhan University in 2019, and PhD in Structural Engineering from Wuhan University in 2023. His main research focus is on multiphysics coupled fracture simulations using phase-field models. He is currently responsible for the simulations of hydrogen diffusion and damage evolutions in heterogeneous composites.
