Research Interests

Mr. Mora does computational solid mechanics at COHMAS. He works with polymer nano composites, in particular with carbon nano tubes (CNTs) embedded in a polycarbonate matrix. The main focus of his research is to study and predict the changes in electrical resistance of the nano composites as a function of the CNT loading. Once this is done, piezo-resistive effect will be added so the changes in electrical resistivity may be tracked during deformation
