Saud Messaed Al-Thaqafi is a highly accomplished mechanical engineer with a remarkable academic record. He graduated at the top of his class from Umm Al-Qura University, earning a GPA of 3.99 out of 4.0. Areas of interest include mechatronics, vibrations, finite elements, automatic control, and sensors. He has demonstrated a strong passion for research and a deep appreciation for the diversity of global cultures and languages. In addition to his native Arabic, he is familiar with the basics of four other languages. He came as a visiting student under the supervision of Prof. Gilles Lubineau.
