Biography

Areeb graduated with Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, one of India’s premier engineering institutions.

Areeb is excited about aerospace engineering and biology and hopes to work at an intersection. He brings diverse research experiences, including MEMS sensor development at the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE), Indian Institute of Science Bangalore; bioimpedance studies at the University of Ottawa as a Mitacs Globalink Research Intern; and investigations of supersonic flow stability at IIT Hyderabad. He was also invited by the Japan Space and Technology Agency (JST) to explore graduate research opportunities in Japan.

Currently, he is an MS Student in Mechanical Engineering working under the supervision of Prof. Gilles Lubineau in the Composites Laboratory at KAUST.
