MCEM Showcase Research at ECCM22

26 June, 2026

The Mechanics of Composites for Energy and Mobility (MCEM) Lab successfully concluded its participation at the 26th European Conference on Composite Materials (ECCM22), contributing a strong portfolio of technical presentations, poster sessions, and scientific leadership.

Throughout the conference, the MCEM Lab showcased innovative research on interfacial adhesion testing and laser-induced graphene-based sensing technologies.

In addition to the technical contributions, our principal Investigator, Prof. Gilles Lubineau, co-organized the symposium Delaminations and Debonding in Composite Materials and Structures, together with Prof. Marco Alfano and Prof. Luca Michele Martulli, providing a dedicated forum for discussions on one of the most important challenges in composite engineering.

ECCM26 provided an excellent platform to share research outcomes, exchange knowledge with the international composites community, and strengthen collaborations with academic and industrial partners.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the European Society for Composite Materials, the conference organizers, session chairs, presenters, and participants for delivering a highly successful and engaging event. We also thank everyone who attended our presentations and posters, visited our team, and contributed to the many valuable discussions throughout the conference.

We look forward to continuing these collaborations and to contributing to future advances in composite materials and structures.
