SPIE Smart Structures + Nondestructive Evaluation explores the latest technologies for automotive, aerospace, civil infrastructure, Digital Twins, advanced materials and sensor systems for NDE, and structural health monitoring.
Hassan presented his work titled “Advanced e-tattoo wireless strain sensors for smart structural health monitoring of composite structures,” showcasing innovative solutions for enhancing structural monitoring through cutting-edge technology.
He also participated in a poster session where he presented his work on “Flexible temperature sensor using laser induced graphene (LIG) based on processing-controlled Seebeck contrast.”

This conference brings together engineers and researchers as they share important advances that help move multifunctional materials, sensor systems, and structural health monitoring technologies into the future. The conference was held in Vancouver, Canada, from the 15th to the 19th of March 2025.
