COHMAS is granted for collaboration with UC-Berkeley

“Robust Solutions for Virtual Testing: simulation and identification of non-linear behaviors" will be a collaborative project with Professor Tamer El-Sayed at KAUST and the Mechanical Engineering department at UC-Berkeley. The project will cover the following three important research areas;

  1. Multi-scale simulation to better understand the relations between the microstructure and the macroscopic behavior. 
  2. Low-scale in-situ experiments to access material quantities required feed advanced models.
  3. Engineering of material formulations to obtain by design tailored material properties.
